Trevor hit his milestone 10th birthday on July 23rd! Now he has to take two giant CF Source vitamins and he has to go in to clinic for a diabetes test in November along with his normal blood tests and x-rays. His normal CF checkup is coming up on September 12th. Hoping his pulmonary function tests (PFT's) will be great. Also hoping his weight and growth is good. His team won their championship in baseball and he has already started football this year. I think he is a receiver. School starts on August 17th and he is going to be in 5th grade! He is growing up very fast and kicking CF's butt everyday!!!

TRISTAN.....BASEBALL 2011

Tristan's team finished 11-2 in regular season! He pitched and played 3rd, short stop and first base! He also had some great hits this year! Great job team!

Trevor's THREE-PETE Baseball Championship 2011!

Trevor's baseball team won the championship this year! This is Trevor's 3rd championship in a row! He pitched and played 2nd base! He also hit two home runs this year! It was a great team effort by all the kids! WAY TO GO!!!!

Tristan Jon

Tristan, my oldest was born as an adult, I think. He is mature beyond his years, and not only is he smart as a whip, (honor roll student) but he is very social, a friend to everyone and very much into sports. He plays football, basketball, soccer, and his favorite sport is baseball. His nickname is "Noodle"! He is in the 9th grade this year. Tristan was sweat tested for CF after Trevor's diagnosis, but the test came back negative. We have not had him DNA tested to see if he is a carrier or not.

My second amazing young man is Trevor. Affectionately known as "Trev of Edge". Trevor is extra special because he was born with Cystic Fibrosis. It is a genetic disease that affects his lungs and digestive system. He has the double delta F508 mutation. He is a real trooper though. Even though he has been through two major surgeries, you would never know there is any problem with him. He is very smart (honor roll student) and very active, he plays sports, loves to swim, loves video games and always wants to spend time with his friends. He is in the 7th grade.
