GEARING UP FOR GREAT STRIDES 2011!

WE ARE GEARING UP FOR THIS YEAR'S GREAT STRIDES WALK....THIS IS A NATIONAL WALK HELD IN KANSAS CITY ON MAY 14TH 2011. WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP????? WE NEED A LOT OF PEOPLE TO WALK WITH US AND HELP GET DONATIONS FOR THIS VERY IMPORTANT CAUSE. OUR 9 YEAR OLD SON TREVOR WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CYSTIC FIBROSIS RIGHT AFTER HIS BIRTH IN 2001. Tristan Jon

Tristan, my oldest was born as an adult, I think. He is mature beyond his years, and not only is he smart as a whip, (honor roll student) but he is very social, a friend to everyone and very much into sports. He plays football, basketball, soccer, and his favorite sport is baseball. His nickname is "Noodle"! He is in the 9th grade this year. Tristan was sweat tested for CF after Trevor's diagnosis, but the test came back negative. We have not had him DNA tested to see if he is a carrier or not.

Trevor Marc

My second amazing young man is Trevor. Affectionately known as "Trev of Edge". Trevor is extra special because he was born with Cystic Fibrosis. It is a genetic disease that affects his lungs and digestive system. He has the double delta F508 mutation. He is a real trooper though. Even though he has been through two major surgeries, you would never know there is any problem with him. He is very smart (honor roll student) and very active, he plays sports, loves to swim, loves video games and always wants to spend time with his friends. He is in the 7th grade.
